Hair Loss

Foods - rich in sulfur-containing amino acids L-cysteine & L-methionine

These are found in animal products like eggs but legumes & cabbage also contain these chemicals. 3-5 oz of fish, lean meat or poultry is an ample serving. Meat in Europe is said to cause hair loss if too much is eaten. Cut out sweets. Sugar, fruit sugar (fructose) can cause balding on the sides of the forehead. Eat foods rich in Vitamin B, choline, inositol & PABA.

Choline - eggs, wheat germ, oatmeal & brown rice, legumes such as beans, split peas & lentils. Inositol - wheat germ, bran, rice, whole wheat, lecithin & legumes.

PABA - mushrooms, cabbage, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, oats, spinach & eggs
Vitamin Supplements - B complex with emphasis on choline, inositol & PABA
Vitamin C improves circulation to scalp
Vit E improves hair health & enhances growth
