SELF- CARE AND DISEASE PREVENTION
I make my own anti-wrinkle lotion with lemon balm water from my
garden using an old world recipe that´s been around for years.
Many
herbs can be used to prevent flus and colds, to keep away viruses
and fight any infections.
Garlic has always been used for its all-purpose remedy for ails
and ills and it helped me get rid of calcium deposits through
improved circulation and its purifying properties.
The best self-care you can give yourself is to be your own best
friend. Would you treat yourself the way you treat your best friend?
If you said no to this question then you need to sit down and take
your own inventory. If you can’t treat your own body like it is your
best friend, then you have some work to do. Start by breathing
deeply saying to yourself every time you breathe in, you’re
breathing in calmness and exhaling tensions, anxieties and stress.
After a ten minute session of breathing, by which time you
should be plenty relaxed, then focus your mind and enable yourself
to relax. Allow your muscles to let go and just be. You’re shutting
out the world for a few minutes so you can get some peace of mind
back in your world.
Get pure water from your vegetables and foods. The tap water we
get is heavily chlorinated so you can smell it when it comes out of
the tap. Chlorine was used to gas people in WWII and is used to kill
living cells, so what do you think it does to your body? At least
get a water filter that filters out harmful chemicals.
Stress is the #1 cause of all illnesses, diseases & discomforts
in the world today. Start by calming yourself down and this will rub
off on others who will also like to be around you because you are
not always running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off.
Eat healthy, whole foods, living foods that give you energy
instead of taking it away like processed, packaged foods full of
chemicals that your body cannot digest.
Exercise and get some fresh air every day even it it’s only for
a half hour, 15 minutes even. Just start somewhere. One step at a
time and finally you’ve arrived at your destination. Your journey is
what counted all along and your choices got you where you are.
Get massages and body work done regularly and take some
hypnotherapy sessions to enable you to relax your mind and body.
